Privacy and cookies
Find out how we handle your personal data, what cookies are used for and how to exercise your rights.
Last updated: 17 September 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Style&Wings d.o.o., Gornje Prekrižje 22, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.
For privacy enquiries and to exercise your rights, contact info@styleandwings.hr or write to the address above.
This notice covers the Style&Wings website and communications relating to enquiries and our services.
2. What data do we use and why?
- Enquiries and service arrangements: first and last name, email address, telephone number if provided, selected services and message content. We use these to respond, prepare a proposal and arrange our work together. When you request a service, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; for other business communications, it is our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry.
- Providing services: contact details, the agreed scope of service and information you provide for its delivery. The legal basis is performance of a contract.
- Invoices and business records: information needed to issue invoices and meet statutory obligations. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
- Website security: technical information, such as IP address, request time and browser details, to the extent needed for operation, troubleshooting and protection against misuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website and communications secure.
You provide information directly; technical data is generated when you use the website. Fields marked with an asterisk are required to submit the form. Without the necessary contact details, we cannot respond to your enquiry; other information is optional. Please do not send health data or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
We do not currently send a newsletter. Submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list or constitute consent to marketing cookies. If we introduce a newsletter in the future, subscription will be separate and voluntary, with an easy way to unsubscribe.
3. Where is data stored and who can access it?
Contact form enquiries are emailed to us and, according to our website maintenance provider, are also stored in the website system. Enquiries are therefore not stored only in email.
Hosting and technical maintenance are provided by our contracted service provider, who has confirmed that they use Hetzner infrastructure in Germany.
To the extent necessary, data is processed with support from hosting, technical maintenance and email providers, and accounting providers for business records. It is disclosed to competent authorities where required by law.
Hosting in Germany does not necessarily mean that all other processing systems are within the European Economic Area. For any transfer outside the EEA, the recipient, country and applicable safeguards must be identified, along with information on how to obtain details of those safeguards.
4. How long do we retain data?
Retention depends on the purpose of processing:
- Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration: we retain them for 12 months from the last communication. Data needed for an agreed service or a specific legal claim is retained under the relevant separate purpose and legal basis.
- Client photographs for Lookbooks: original photographs taken during styling are deleted immediately after the Lookbook is created. Personalised Lookbooks in Canva are retained for three years after the last collaboration. These rules apply to client-service materials, not photographs published on the website.
- Contractual and accounting records: in accordance with statutory obligations and periods relevant to establishing or defending legal claims.
- Data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn or the stated purpose ends; evidence of consent may require separate, limited retention to demonstrate lawfulness.
- Technical logs, backups and cookies: according to established security needs and actual system settings.
5. What are your rights?
Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal and does not automatically erase data we must retain on another legal basis.
Send your request to info@styleandwings.hr. We respond without undue delay and no later than one month. Where an extension is permitted by law due to the complexity or number of requests, we will explain the reasons within the first month. Where necessary, we may request proportionate identity verification.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), regardless of whether you have contacted us first.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small records that websites store in your browser. Similar technologies include local and session storage and tracking pixels. Consent rules do not apply only to files called cookies.
- Strictly necessary technologies: used solely to transmit communications or provide a function you have explicitly requested. Such use does not require consent.
- Additional preferences, analytics and marketing: where these are not necessary for the requested service, they may only be activated after appropriate consent.
Simply browsing the website, scrolling or closing a notice does not constitute consent. Accepting and rejecting optional cookies must be equally easy.
Managing cookies
We use Complianz to display the consent notice and save your choice. The website uses external services related to advertising and communication, including Google Ads and Meta Pixel. The banner lets you manage the optional Preferences, Statistics and Marketing categories. Your choice is generally stored for up to 365 days unless you change it earlier or delete it in your browser. Your cookie choice does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
7. How can you change or withdraw consent?
You can accept or reject optional cookies by purpose and later change your choice through the “Cookie settings” button available on the website. Deleting cookies in your browser is an additional option, but is not a substitute for proper website consent settings.
You can delete stored cookies and restrict future storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary records may affect requested website functions.
To withdraw consent to communications, contact info@styleandwings.hr. If we introduce a newsletter in the future, messages will include an unsubscribe link.
8. External links and changes to this notice
The website links to other publications and social networks. When you open an external website, it processes data under its own privacy rules. Embedded external content differs from ordinary links and requires a separate assessment of possible data transfers before interaction.
We update this notice when purposes, services or processing methods change. The current version and revision date are available on this page.
